Original post with video can be found here. SIDE A - Interlude Our group is called ‘Sounds of Taiwan’ and our four-day itinerary was based on exploring music and dance aspects. Through looking at different themes, we came across some experiences we will never forget. We wanted to show the diversity of Taiwan for travellers, by travellers. Our goal was to keep things real and tell...

Typhoon in Taiwan hinders our itinerary
Firstly, our thoughts and warmth go out to the people who have been affected by Typhoon Morakot. In exactly a week, Emma and I will be heading to Taiwan to begin our four-day itinerary in music and dance. However, we can’t help but think to change our plans because of the aftermath of the typhoon. Our originally plan involved heading South of Taiwan… now, that doesn’t sound like a great idea....

Thanks to everyone who viewed our video! And to those that’s helped us with the video, also received my calls at random times for brainstorming! The bloopers are awesome too! (They were mostly of Yi and the same line! Haha). We had heaps of fun making it, cutting it, posting it… posting it again… The next step is the itinerary, which still needs a little tweaking, but hopefully...

Wow... Thanks guys
It’s been amazing how many people have taken their time to vote for us! I’m still in the midst of my exams, hence my contribution to this competition has been minimal, but I’m sure everyone would agree that Yi has done an excellent job!!! We will be filming this weekend and it’ll be uploaded latest by Sunday night Australian Eastern Standard time :) We are both really...

Making the most out of 60 seconds
Emma and I are planning away in making the 60 sec video clip. We’ve probably scribbled down a full page of notes but now finding it difficult to convert those words into motion. Where do we start? It also doesn’t help that Emma recently moved house and won’t have the internet for two weeks! Laters, Yi

Theme.. theme... hmmmm...
Ok, Emma and I had our first meeting over lunch to discuss the competition and go through the fine print of things. Outcome? A little confused but we’re on track. We’ve realised we got to get a move on with things (although the competition hasn’t even officially opened to receive applications, us two like to over-prepare things). We’ve briefly assigned a theme for our...
